This course is a unique opportunity for 25 participants to collaboratively explore queer theological thought and its practical applications. In this hostile time during which LGBTQ+ people have been increasingly marginalized and scapegoated: queer theologies and ethics can illuminate a courageous, countercultural way forward.

Dates: March 5 – April, 8 2025 (6 weeks)

- Courses: Wednesdays 3pm-5pm ET | 12pm-2pm PT
- Community time: Thursdays, March 6 & 20; April 3; time is flexible
Location: Online learning platform (Zoom)
Cost: $225 per participant, and book/material costs

Course Objectives:
- To introduce participants to key concepts and figures in queer theology.
- To equip participants with tools for critical analysis of theological texts and traditions.
- To foster a supportive community for LGBTQ+ individuals and allies.
- To inspire participants to engage in practical ministry and advocacy.
Course Curriculum
The course will cover a range of topics, including:
- Queer Biblical Interpretation
- Queer Liberation Theologies
- Gender and Sexuality in Christian Tradition
- LGBTQ+ Spirituality and Ritual
- Queer Ethics and Social Justice
As a participant you will:
- Attend 6 classes and 3 community sessions
- Create and present a practical project

- Build invaluable community with other advocates and justice seekers
