A Virtual Porch hosted by Parents Reconciling Network (PRN) and United Methodist Alliance for Transgender Inclusion (UMATI).
Tuesday, July 21, 2026 | 7:00 PM ET | Online via Zoom
What does it look like to love your child without conditions — even when the world tells you it should come with some?
Join us for an evening of honesty, hope, and hard-won wisdom from parents who’ve walked this road. We’ll open with a keynote from Jamie Bruesehoff, author of Raising Kids Beyond the Binary, offering a grounding “Parenting a Trans Child 101” for families just beginning this journey — or those who could use a reminder they’re not alone in it. From there, we’ll move into a panel conversation with Rev. Dare Stevens and Rev. Adam Randazzo (joined by his son, Alex), who will share more with us.
This is a Virtual Porch: an online gathering space where we bring together speakers and stories around topics that matter, the way neighbors used to gather on the porch to talk about what’s really going on. Bring your questions. Bring your own story if you want to share it in the chat. You’ll leave with practical wisdom and the reminder that you are not doing this alone.

She holds degrees in Religion from Gettysburg College and United Lutheran Seminary. Jamie lives with her spouse and kids in New Jersey.
