DESCRIPTION:Rainbow Alliance at Christ Church United Methodist in Fort Lauderdale\, FL\, invites you to join them in Tallahassee\, FL\, for a rally for LGBTQ+ justice on Saturday\, January 21\, from 9am-12pm. \n“The purpose of the Rally is to demonstrate mass visibility\, and to voice concern over legislation and executive actions that have made hundreds of thousands of folks of historically disenfranchised identities feel threatened\, unprotected\, and erased by government. We aim to remind our elected representatives that government of\, by\, and for the people must be responsive to the people. \n“Imagine what a showing from faith-based groups would demonstrate to both the LGBTQ+ community and those who would condemn us. Please join us. \n“At present\, our application to demonstrate on State Capitol grounds has been approved. We encourage groups to organize their own transportation to Tallahassee as we do not currently have any significant pool of funds – this is a grassroots initiative.
