The Cornerstone Sunday School class is committed to inclusivity of all human beings. We celebrate and affirm each person regardless of race, ethnicity, nationality, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, socioeconomic condition, age, ability, marital status, parental status, and spiritual journey. We allow for open discussion and deep questioning within our community. We strive to grow more fully into God’s expansive love and grace through studies and discussions that focus on vulnerability, genuine respect, understanding, equality, justice, and peace. We believe the Christian story is one of radical inclusion and hospitality and we are committed to following Christ’s example of breaking down any barrier that may keep someone from experiencing the love of God in Christian community.
