Building upon our congregation’s mission statement that we are a mutually supportive and Christian family, we affirm that each person is of sacred worth, that all people are God’s children created in God’s image, loved and blessed equally. We strive to abide in John Wesley’s 3 simple rules: do no harm, do good, stay in love with God. Such abiding means extending hospitality, celebrating, and encouraging full participation of all, regardless of age, race, national origin, gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, marital status or family structure, faith, education or economic background, and physical and mental ability. We recognized that we hold a variety of opinions. We do not seek to erase our differences but to journey together in faith. We seek to have our congregation be a part of Reconciling Ministries Network to reiterate the fact that all people are welcome in our church family.
