Such love has empowered so many beloved queer children of God to say to this church, “I know you will hurt me. I know you will mess up in the worst possible way. And I still love you.”
Forgive us, Lord, for our inability to proclaim the worth of all of Your children.
Thanks to two pastors, we were able to make our day a celebration that was festive and meaningful, despite the Methodist Church.
We cannot continue temple business as usual and act like this is acceptable!
Through this incredibly transformational journey, we began to witness the Beloved Community. We also began to fall in love.
It is the ability to affirm love for one’s partner, even if one actions indicate otherwise, that holds marriages together.
All of us there for one purpose, to celebrate and witness the legal marriages of 50 LGBTQ couples.
