We, the members of All God’s Children Reconciling Community at Central United Methodist Church, believe that all people are created in God’s image and are of sacred worth. We welcome, affirm, and celebrate the rich diversity of God’s creation, including people of all races, ethnicities, cultures, economic levels, family configurations, physical and mental abilities, faith traditions, education levels, sexual orientations, gender identities, and gender expressions. Our community is intentionally open to all, regardless of age or stage in faith journey.
Our community believes that all relationships should find nurture in the Church, but we recognize that many have been greeted with exclusion instead. We believe that inclusion enriches our faith journey as we strive to live Christ’s message of radical love for all. We are committed to working for full inclusion in The United Methodist Church and believe that the opportunity for Christian marriage and ordained leadership should be extended to all who seek it.
The members of All God’s Children Reconciling Community at Central are committed to providing a space where all can learn, evolve, and explore while growing in relationship with God and each other. We believe that all of this is possible through love.
