Your Stories for Change

Preparing for General Conference 2019

The United Methodist Church – the third-largest Christian denomination in the world – will soon decide whether it will stand for the kin-dom of God, or whether it will continue its status quo of anti-LGBTQ discrimination. Especially for LGBTQ ministers and youth in unaffirming churches, the stakes are high.

As General Conference approaches, we encourage Reconciling United Methodists to study and share the following resources. Before us is an opportunity to enact justice and take a major step as a denomination toward LGBTQ inclusion and equity in the Church.
